Bella la Mozzarella Burrata is similar in appearance to mozzarella but with much more character. This fresh Italian cheese is made up of an outer shell which is 100% mozzarella whilst the inside contains mozzarella and cream which gives an unusual soft texture. All finished with a hint of acidic sweetness.
The name ‘burrata’ means ‘buttered’ in Italian and is a rich, porcelain white, un-ripened cheese. Usually served fresh, at room temperature, with salads or crusty bread for a simple yet creamy dish.
In this pack, you get two balls of burrata, both approximately 125g.
Ideal for a simple starter to share with freshly toasted crusty bread, olive oil, tomatoes and seasoning. Just as tasty when broken over a salad or even a pizza for the cheese fiends.
