This mouth-watering Capreolus Charcuterie Sharing Platter is perfect as a starter for two people or plenty as a meal for one. The selection may vary from pack to pack and this is because many of their products are ‘slow food’ which means some meats may take up to 2 years to be ready for consumption.
When they make the platters, they carefully choose only the best of the products that are ready in the maturing room and salami room so you might have any combination of meats, plus two types of salami. This is excellent served with a salad, topped with parmesan shavings and apple balsamic dressing. Or try with fresh, crusty bread and a good red wine.
The meats might include Smoked Mutton, Dorset Coppa, Air Dried Ham, Air Dried Pork Loin or Dorset Air Dried Beef. The two types of salami are chosen from Rosette, Rampshire Tingler, Dorset Warmer, Chorizo, Dorset Red Post or some of their new salamis like Venison and Green Peppercorn, Venison Chorizo or the Truffled Salami.
