Domaine Cordier Macon Aux Bois D’Allier consists of a white burgundy coming in at 13.5% Vol. Using 100% Chardonnay grapes gives this wine an enticing palette with a great intensity. Coming from Burgundy, France these wines are still some of the best whites in the region without such a high price tag.
Using traditional wine making methods and also handpicking the grapes when they reach the perfect maturity produces classically elegant wines.
With ripe aromas of peach and citrus as well as pear to give you a light yet flavourful fruit taste. The firm acidity as well as chalky minerality combine to give this wine long and lasting taste.
This 2018 vintage is delicious chilled and enjoyed on it’s own or paired with shellfish and light bites.
