This Farfalle Tricolore is made in Gragnano near Naples, the birth place of pasta in Italy, using 100% superior quality durum wheat semolina that is high in protein and results in an al dente cooked pasta texture. Tricolore refers to the 3 different colours of this pasta, the yellow pasta is the same as usual, the red pasta having been flavoured with tomatoes, and the green with spinach. The characteristic shape and roughness of the surface of this short bronze-drawn pasta make the sauces easily conquer every fold.
