Lambs Lettuce is a leafy vegetable which adds a distinctive, tangy flavour to salads. It can also be known as corn salad and has long spoon shaped dark leaves. It can be used raw in salads as well as steamed and served as a vegetable or blended into a green smoothie.
The unusual name apparently comes from the lettuce’s resemblance to the shape and size of a lamb’s tongue. One of the most nutritional varieties of lettuce available with high levels of Vitamin A, B, C and Iron.
