Al’Fez Moroccan Spiced Couscous is a colourful alternative to rice, pasta and potatoes.
This Moroccan Spiced Conscous is delicately flavoured and infused with exotic North African spices and mixed with juicy sultanas and pine nuts. These tiny ‘grains’ of crushed durum wheat are pre-steamed and then dried.
To prepare the couscous, it is hydrated with boiling water and fluffed up with a fork and can be served as a couscous salad or traditionally as part of a tagine. Its quick and easy to make and can be enjoyed in many ways. Try adding melted butter, nut oils or olive oil – they are easily absorbed and each adds a different character to your couscous dish.
Its delightful when served alongside grilled chicken or Portobello mushrooms for a healthy weeknight meal.
