Nectarine are round, yellow and red stone fruit which are about the same size as an apple. They have a smooth, shiny skin which is firm to touch and a lighter pale yellow flesh inside with a hard stone in the middle. These fruit have a delicate and sweet taste as well as a juicy consistency which is perfect for extra hydration. They also contain lots of vitamins and nutrients including beta carotenes, antioxidants and folate.
Ideal as a healthy snack by themselves, cut into a fruit salad with a variety of other seasonal fruit or combine into your home baked goods.
