Spanish Onions usually larger than their English cousin, a Spanish onion is also much milder and sweeter in flavour, so much so that it can be eaten raw…if that is your thing. Ideal for omelettes, salsas and stir fry’s, also great enjoyed cooked or raw if you like your eyes to tingle.
Best results when cooked lightly. Either grill or gently sautee to extract their subtle sweetness.
