Stéphane Aviron Fleurie Vieille Vignes Domaine de la Madrière consists of a silky wine with a mineral finish. The wines are created from 100% Gamay grapes which are harvested, vinified and bottled at the estate.
Paired perfectly with rich, flavourful meats like veal and pork and also tasty with homemade pasta.
This wine has plenty of colour and also a perfumed nose of crushed red fruit, oak and a hint of white pepper. A fine Beaujolais with a smooth and silky body with fruit which isn’t overly tart.
Coming in at 12.5% Vol this 2016 vintage is enjoyable young but like their other wines, their winemaking ensures longevity.
With a combination of a dry aftertaste with a perfect amount of acidity, this wine is extremely drinkable.
