Strong Wholemeal Flour often contain large flakes of bran, which in pastry or cakes can prove chewy or make the dough fragile and difficult to work with. This flour is milled from locally grown wheats and carefully crafted to an exceptionally fine consistency, ensuring that all of the bran and flavour of a wholemeal flour is retained whilst avoiding any large flakes, therefore giving the very best results.
