Something fun you can do with the kids this Easter. Mix them up and change how you decorate them or fill them with different surprises, the possibilities are endless.
Ingredients
- 4 Tablespoons of Butter
- Rocky Mountain Mini Marshmallows – 285g
- Rice Krispies/ Other Puffed Rice Cereal – 175g
- Micro Chocolate Easter Eggs
- Sprinkles
- Non Stick Cooking Spray
- Plastic Easter Eggs
Method
STEP 1
Grab a large pot and put it on the heat on low. Add your butter and let melt.
STEP 2
To this add your marshmallows and stir until completely combined and melted, then take it off the heat.
STEP 3
Stir in your Rice Krispies until they’re all covered in the sticky mixture.
STEP 4
Lightly spray your plastic eggs and hands with non stick spray to avoid making extra mess.
STEP 5
Fill both sides of the plastic egg with the mixture, make sure to overfill one side slightly to ensure the two halves will stick together.
STEP 6
Press in your micro Easter eggs in the centre and close. (There should be a little resistance)
STEP 7
Remove your Krispy treat from the mould and decorate with sprinkles or chocolate shavings, get creative and have fun!
