In this Privacy Policy, we refer to F.A. Gates & Son Limited as Gates which includes both Gates Garden Centre and Gates Farm Shop located at Somerby Road, Cold Overton, Oakham, Leicestershire, LE15 7QB. - If you have an account with us, Gates will store your name, billing and delivery address, orders and receipts, email and telephone numbers. For your security, we’ll also keep an encrypted record of your login password.
- At Gates we collect notes from conversations with you, details of any complaints or comments you make, details of purchases you made, items viewed or added to your basket, items you may have added to your Gates Wish List, voucher redemptions, brands you show interest in, web pages you visit and how and when you contact us.
- We access copies of documents you provide to prove your age, identity or address where the law requires this. This will include details of your full name, address, date of birth and facial image. If you provide a passport, the data will include your place of birth, gender and nationality and a driving licence includes name, gender, place and date of birth. This information will only be used to prove your identity.
- We track visits to our websites or apps and which site you came from to ours.

- Open rates and click-through rates on email marketing campaigns.
- Personal details which help us to recommend items of interest.
