Parsnips are a staple of the Sunday lunch and a great complementary vegetable, when cooked they have a sweet flavour which is subtle but not overpowering. These winter vegetables are ideal when mashed or roasted to best bring out their flavour. The earthy and sweet flavour slso lends itself well to soups, stews and roast dinners.
Why not glaze with honey & coriander seeds, and roast for a sticky texture.
