Runner Beans or Phaseolus coccineus are a plant of the legume family and are long and bright green. They are stronger in flavour and coarser in texture than green beans with attractive purple beans inside the pods. Simply boil, steam or Sautee and pair with rich ingredients like prosciutto, prawns or parmesan.
