A refreshing glass full of tropical sunshine made with light flavours which combine into something delicious. Perfect for parties or when you have guests over at the weekend and sure to hit the right spot when the sun is shining. You could even go as far as counting a glass as one of you 5-a-day!
This will make 2 generous glasses, double the amount for larger groups and make in batches. It required a powerful blender, otherwise simple get crushed ice and that will make the process a little easier.
- 1 x Small-Medium Fresh Mango – peeled, deseeded and chopped
- 1 x Nectarine – deseeded and chopped
- ½ x Fresh Lemon
- Bacardi White Rum – 150ml
- Sugar Syrup – 50ml
- Ice Cubes – 175g
In a blender, add your ice and blitz until it’s much smaller chunks.
Add in your chopped fruits, Bacardi, sugar syrup and squeeze half a fresh lemon into the concoction. Try and avoid dropping any bitter seeds into the mix.
Blend until fully combined, pour into your glasses and garnish if you would like. You can use a chunk of mango, nectarine or simply a wedge of lemon.
When making this for a larger group of people, double up the ingredients and make it in batches of no more than 4 servings at a time.
